Mario López Ayala

Mario López Ayala is a Mexican university professor and interdisciplinary researcher whose work is situated within the field of Social Sciences, with a focus on human-centered artificial intelligence, organizational trust, and socio-technical systems. His research examines how artificial intelligence reshapes cognition, decision-making processes, and institutional structures in complex social environments, with particular emphasis on governance, digital transformation, and geopolitical dynamics. He adopts a cross-disciplinary approach at the intersection of engineering, psychology, and organizational studies, contributing to the analysis of institutional change, organizational behavior, and the evolution of socio-technical systems in contemporary societies. His work has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals and contributes to ongoing international discussions on artificial intelligence, society, and institutional transformation. In parallel, he develops analytical and public-facing work on AI governance, cognitive transformation, and geopolitical dynamics as Director of Phoenix24, a platform dedicated to analytical journalism and global affairs.
