Mario López Ayala

DOCTORADO EN INNOVACIÓN Y ADMINISTRACIÓN EDUCATIVA

Mario López Ayala, PhD, is a Mexican university professor and interdisciplinary researcher affiliated with the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) and the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente (UAdeO). His work focuses on Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence in industrial systems, integrating industrial engineering, psychology, organizational trust, and Industry 5.0. His research examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping work, decision-making, and institutional structures in productive contexts. In 2025, he participated as an interviewee in a University of Sydney (Australia) research project on artificial intelligence and journalism. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, teaches in engineering and business programs, and connects research with public communication through journalism. He is an active member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Organización de Comunicadores Unidos de Sinaloa (OCUS). He also maintains strong links with the productive sector as a member of the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (CANIRAC) and as an entrepreneur in the fast-food sector, which allows him to integrate applied research, organizational innovation, and knowledge transfer between academia, industry, and society.
