Doctor en Ciencias de la Ingeniería por parte del Tecnológico Nacional de México campus Culiacán; Maestro en Ingeniería Electrónica por la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California; Ingeniería Electrónica por el Tecnológico Nacional de México campus Culiacán. Profesor de la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa en la Facultad de Ingeniería Culiacán. Las áreas de interés son: Diseño de Sistemas de Control para detectores de partículas en Experimentos de Física de Altas Energías; así como programación enfocada a la aplicación de hardware tal como sistemas controlados por Microcontroladores. Desde el año 2020 ha sido miembro de la Colaboración del experimento ALICE, (A Large Hadron Collider), el cual es uno de los cuatro principales experimentos del Gran Colisionador de Hadrones (LHC, Large Hadron Collider) pertenecientes al Centro Europeo para Investigación Nuclear (CERN) localizado en la frontera Franco-Suiza. En ALICE ha participado en el diseño, desarrollo y puesto en marcha del sistema de control (DCS) del detector FDD (Forward Diffractive Detector) para su operación durante la corrida 3 del LHC en 2022; así mismo ha participado como operador del DCS (DCS Shifter) central del Experimento ALICE. También continua participando en ALICE enfocado en mejoras aplicadas al sistema de control de FDD en el periodo 2022-2024 y continuará durante el 2025.
